The firm was originally created in 1967 by partnership of Wayne Rauch, George Weaver and Joseph Millsaps. In 1999, the company changed its name from Rauch, Weaver, Millsaps & Co. to NAI Rauch, Weaver, Norfleet, Kurtz & Co. The name change reflects the names of Lloyd Norfleet and Kenneth L. Kurtz, who have been stockholders and active brokers of the company for many years, and the desire of Wayne Rauch and Joseph Millsaps taking lesser roles in the company operations and being elected as Directors Emeritus.
